Youth will have the opportunity to learn to make a movie as part of a movie crew! Be part of a group brainstorming the short film you want to make, and then take turns being the director, camera operator, makeup artist, prop master, lighting technician, and more! We will be guided by John Allan Funk, an Archdiocese of Baltimore seminarian, and also a member of the Director’s Guild of America. John worked with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and other big stars on Jumanji: The Next Level, Jungle Cruise, Spiderman: Homecoming, and more. He learned a lot while working in the film industry, and loves telling good stories in films, especially films that glorify God.

Aviation & Space

Visit the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly Va. Walk among the thousands of aviation and space artifacts, including the Space Shuttle Discovery and a Concorde with our own Fr. Javier Fuentes, former NASA employee. Fr. Javier will share his love of space and love of the Lord. We are also being joined by a veteran of fighter squadron VF-31on our tour.

Come explore the quantum universe. Quantum mechanics is explaining how things work at the atomic level. It’s a heavily researched area for technology and other applications. Come explore the science of the atoms through science, art,++ and games with Nelson Spessard, Dell Technology Distinguished Staff.
