Knights Events
Tootsie Roll Campaign
The Knights of Columbus will be sporting yellow vests and holding bright cans the weekend of TBD as they help to recognize the dignity of every person. Tootsie rolls will be passed out and any donations received will go to support the Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
Flag collection
A collection box will be available for any U.S. flags that are worn or torn. Please place them in the box TBD and the Knights will ensure they are disposed of properly.
Christmas Cards for the Troops
Christmas cards for our service members will be available for all to sign. Please take a moment to write a warm, simple greeting to those that are serving in the military and making sacrifices to ensure the freedom and opportunities that we enjoy and all too often take for granted.
Lenten Meals
The Knights of Columbus Council invites you to join us for a good meal and great fraternity. The chef’s menu is still in development and will come soon.
Donations from the meal will be used to support our parish and our charitable programs. We look forward to seeing you there. A Most Blessed Lent to All. ~Charles Carroll Council 15985

Knights at the March for Life
Thanks to our Knights of Columbus Council for this photo from yesterday’s March for Life! That’s Archbishop Lori and Knight Jose Rector.
About the Knights
Do you like to help your parish and your community? Do you have 24 hours a year or more to join us and help out? Now you have the opportunity to do this with brothers in faith, serving a common purpose and in a fraternal brotherhood.
Who are the Knights of Columbus? Father Michael J. McGivney started the order 130 years ago to protect the faith of Catholics being discriminated for their beliefs. Since the beginning, the Knights have been a strong partner in solidarity with the Vatican, our Bishops, and our Priests. Do you have what it takes to lock arms with a brother Knight in promoting, preserving, and protecting our faith?
Why not join the world’s largest family fraternal organization, whose members have included President John F. Kennedy, Vince Lombardi, and many others, along with Archbishop William Lori and our own pastor Father Frazier.
Our Council is the ninth to emerge from St. John’s Council’s 103-year history in Frederick – a milestone in Maryland’s rich Catholic history.
Strengthen the Bonds of Faith and Fraternity,
Jose Rector, Grand Knight
