As we enter into Holy Week, it is often said its’ the week that changed history, which is true. The only way Holy Week changes history is if we walk those walk. If we are there to participate in those sacred liturgies, if we enter in who the week is all about. This whole week is not just about things that happened in the past, but it’s about making them present once again by celebrating them in our lives. Realizing the gift of Christ in the Eucharist, the price He paid on the cross when He suffered and died for all of us. And celebrating His Resurrection and triumph over sin and death. It is true that Holy Week truly has changed history. But the question remains, will I be there to celebrate it so that it can change me as well?
