Summertime is a great time to take advantage of the beauty that’s all around us. Jesus reminds us that if the lilies of the field are clothed with such splendor, then God will take care of us and our daily worries, concerns, and needs. And sometimes we forget that. We get ourselves so worried and sleepless over the anxieties and the worries of life we fail to trust. If he can make such magnificence happen for only a day or two, how much more for us? Who he has loved and created in his own image and likeness.
