Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross began as a practice of pious pilgrims in Jerusalem who would retrace the final journey of Jesus Christ to Calvary. Later, for the many who wanted to pass along the same route but could not make the trip to Jerusalem, a practice developed that eventually took the form of the fourteen stations currently found in almost every Catholic church today.

Join us on Friday nights during Lent at 7:00 pm at St. Joseph and St. John in this powerful way to contemplate and enter into the mystery of Jesus’ gift of Himself to us. There will be a 8:00pm Spanish Stations of the Cross at St. John

On Good Friday, Stations will be prayed at 12:00 pm at St. Joseph and 12:15 pm at St. John.
