Celebrate the Feast of St. John

According to legend, St. John was served poisoned wine but survived because he blessed the wine before he put it to his lips; the poison rose from the chalice in the shape of a serpent.

In his happy memory, it is traditional to bless wine on his feast day, December 27. The wine will be delivered to the parish and blessed on the feast of St John, and available for pick up after all Masses on December 28 and 29 at St John.

The deadline to purchase a bottle of wine to be blessed on the Feast of St. John is December 18. The store will not be accepting additional orders after that. Click the link below for details.
