Cancer Support Group

The Cancer Support Group – April 19 – 6:30 PM – St. Joseph

The Cancer Support Group for the pastorate meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at St. Joseph at 6:30 PM; the next gathering is Wednesday, April 19. This group is for anyone touched by the disease – a loved one, caretaker, or other who may be looking for someone they can relate to, someone who may have a similar cancer experience, or an opportunity just to talk and share feelings. Support groups can help fill that void. It’s a place to find “comfort and joy”. We have guest speakers lined up in May, June and September. Deacon Greg Rausch, retired Frederick County oncologist, will be the guest speaker on May 3rd. If you or someone you know are interested in attending, please feel free to drop in.
