Embracing Life’s Questions: Wrestling with Faith

As a disciple, we often grapple with profound questions: Why does God allow certain things to happen? Much like the patriarch Jacob in Genesis, we find ourselves wrestling with God, but not in a physical sense; rather, it’s a battle within our own minds. Why do certain events occur? Why are our prayers seemingly unanswered? Why must our loved ones face difficult circumstances? Wrestling with these uncertainties can actually be a positive experience as it allows us to deepen our faith. Just like Jacob in the Old Testament, all of us are called to wrestle with God amid the realities of our lives. Let’s view this as an opportunity to draw closer to God, recognizing the immense power and presence God holds in our lives.
