Adoration Under the Stars

On Friday, June 20, the community gathered at St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor for Adoration Under the Stars, a beautiful evening of outdoor worship and fellowship. Attendees brought lawn chairs, blankets, and flowers to place at the outdoor altar for Eucharistic Adoration under the night sky.

From 5:30 to 7:30 pm, families enjoyed fun and fellowship with an inflatable obstacle course, snow cones, ice cream, and delicious food from the Plating Grace and Grub food truck.

At 8:00 pm, the evening transitioned into a reverent hour of Eucharistic Adoration, followed by a stunning fireworks display at 9:00 pm to close the night.

Corpus Christi Procession

On Sunday, June 22, Archbishop Lori celebrated the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ at the 11:00 am Mass at St. John the Evangelist.

Following the Mass, participants joined a Eucharistic procession through the streets of downtown Frederick, which concluded with benediction at St. John.

It was a beautiful public witness of faith, and all were warmly welcomed to take part in the celebration.
