As we enter into 2026, a question that’s crossed all of our minds is what’s my New Year’s resolution? What am I going to do differently this year? You know, for a lot of us, it’s the same old thing. I’m going to drop a few pounds, I’m going to eat healthy. I’m gonna go to the gym more and those are all great, being healthy and physically fit are good things. Let’s be realistic. They often aren’t very long lasting we quickly fall off the bandwagon and fall back to our old habits. What about if we made 2026, a Holier year. A year while you’re closer to God. A year where I share my faith, A year where I put my faith at the center of my family life. For instance, maybe it’s saying grace not just on Thanksgiving and Christmas but every night is a family. Maybe it’s kneeling down and praying with my spouse or my children before I go to bed. Maybe it’s starting to go to daily mass. The possibilities are endless of how we can make 2026, a Holier year. Are those New Year’s resolutions that are actually going to make a difference. Easy at the end of the day, it’d probably be a good thing if we all ate healthier, it’d probably be a good thing if we all dropped a few pounds and to be a good thing if we all could see our abs again. What’s really going to be a good thing is if we grew closer to Jesus, Holier in 2026, by starting this year, in a different way, to make it, a Holier year, a better year for us. Not a sermon, not a homily, but just a little Jolt of Faith.
