As the Easter season continues, the challenge becomes how to keep the joy and hope of the Resurrection alive in our daily lives. This reflection encourages us to be proactive in sharing the hope of the Risen Christ — not through preaching, but through simple, personal acts of care and encouragement.
Instead of grand gestures, sharing Easter joy can happen in everyday moments: reaching out to someone who feels overwhelmed, offering prayers to someone facing a difficult diagnosis, supporting a person grieving a loss, or simply sharing how faith has helped you through hard times. Like the early Church, hope is often shared person-to-person in small but meaningful ways.

As we hit the end of April, the challenge is how do we keep that Easter joy that Easter hope alive in our hearts? This week,I want to focus on being proactive – sharing that joy of the RisenChrist and I’m not talking about standing on a street corner and preaching at people but just looking for opportunities in our daily lives so that person that seems overwhelmed. that person that seems anxious, maybe that person that has just gotten a bad diagnosis, that person that’s lost a loved one.How do we reach out to them? Not preach at them but reach out to them,as people of Hope. Maybe sharing how Jesus has lifted us up when we’ve been overwhelmed or we’re feeling depressed.Maybe just simply saying we’re praying for them. Those little things can make a big difference in sharing the resurrection. As you saw last time by reflecting on how the Holy Spirit worked in the early church,it was often person to person. Another person sharing the impact Jesus had made that then brought that power and that hope to someone else.I think sometimes we take for granted that people know about the hope of Christ. But if we as His disciples aren’t the ones out there sharing that good news, then who will? Not a sermon, not a homily, just a little thought for us all.
